heres the spot where i plan to write down info/lore about my ocs! i have quite a few, and i imagine this page will take a long time to fully complete.

flower, a vocaloid/android, was "born" in a "class" of ten vflowers. they were created to be singers, and took classes and lived together for a while. since they all have the same name, they use the last four digits of their serial code to make nicknames for each other. flower, a.k.a. G420, was nicknamed "blaze" by his classmates. as soon as he got out of the class environment, he dropped the nickname saying "it's embarassing!"

one of the other flowers in his class, momo (M0MQ), was very close with him. they called each other siblings. he came out to her as trans soon after they both went their separate ways, on the phone, and immediately hung up. she kept calling him, but he didn't answer for three hours.

flowers are born as girls, and are born at a kind of ambiguous physical age. flower was able to pay for an opperation to make himself look older, and also got a kind of top surgery.

most of the time, vocaloids who actually want to do music join an agency. two of flower's other classmates joined agencies, and the one who he was friends with hated the experience and flower decided it probably wasn't for him. he wanted to do music, just not in the standard way.

he found a young-looking miku and kagamine lenka about to get into a fistfight on the street, physically picked up the miku, got punched in the face, and gained a new friend. he and lychee sang and played as a rock duo for a few months, mostly playing at a venue owned by flower's weird friend yuu. the two didn't really have a name for their band, until they met gakupo, a drummer. he ended up joining their band. his nickname had been "fate" a while ago, so together they named the band "entwined fates." flower has a bit of a crush on gakupo, although he is also aware gakupo has a thing for his roommate, miki.

flower is pretty dramatic, and kind of a loser. he thinks the funniest things are outdated jokes/memes from the 2010s, and would probably laugh at a minion meme. he also has interesting taste in clothes. usually crop tops with weird phrases on them, and no one knows where he gets them. he usually can be found wearing a "I ♥ N Y" crop top that he obviously tore himself.

he's the dad friend of the group. he is younger than gakupo but he has dad vibes. or rather strange bisexual uncle, but, you know.

kamui gakupo, when he was younger, was nicknamed "fate" by his classmates. this was based on his serial code, F8E0. he says he doesn't really care what you call him, gakupo or fate, but since he's usually the only gakupo around calling him gakupo makes more sense. gakupo was created at an ambiguous age, somewhere between 20 and 30. he calls himself 24 for convinience, and it seems to suit his maturity levels.

fate was created with a faulty eyepiece. he originally wanted to join an agency, but became self conscious about his looks. he also can't see out of his right eye, which didn't help. he usually covers his eye with his hair, sunglasses, or some other accessory. he's introverted and generally socially anxious, but is slowly becoming more confident in himself!

he is roommates with an sfa2 miki, whom he affectionately calls chi. he admires her a lot for her talents and boldness. miki is mistakenly (and somewhat egotistically) convinced that he is in love with her. but, she has never brought it up to him. she has mentioned it to flower, though, who was acting weirdly...

after having gave up on his dream of being on stage, gakupo never gave up music. he knows how to play several instruments, one of which being the drums. after meeting flower and lychee, and hearing about their band, he was asked if he wanted to join. now they all play together as "entwined fates."

lychee (LY1E, aka hatsune miku) used to be an idol. she and her friend kagamine lenka both were part of a trio, along with an otomachi una. she was "born" at 16, but aged down to about 12/13 for a more childlike appearance. this was the theme of the idol group, and they all dressed up in lolita style outfits and acted very cutesy in public. lychee hated every minute of it, but lenka was very dependent on her for her own mental health. lychee felt like she couldlnt leave, for lenkas sake. eventually she had a breakdown, and had a big fight with una. after breaking up with the group, she almost ended up punching lenka out on a street corner but she was physically picked up by a vflower. they became friends after a while, and lychee ended up living with him since she used to live with lenka and una.

lychee hasnt spoken to either una or lenka since they fought. she worries a lot about lenka, and feels really guilty, but also feels like if she ever talks to her shell end up being dragged back into the idol business. for a while, she tried to distance herself from her previous life. she does genuinely like to dress in a cute way, but she doesnt like to be called "miku" anymore and it took a while for her to get back into any type of music. at least now shes into metal!

she likes to tease her friends, especially gakupo (hes very teasable). shes worried about getting truly close to anyone, and is pretty snarky. however, she does really love her friends (especially flower) and would be absolutely heartbroken if they had any genuine fight. shes not quite sure how to express this.

she often speaks in short sentences and stands with her arms up at her sides in a t-rex pose (autism). shes happy speaking like this, though, and puts her hair over one eye to further accentuate her image of "scary child from horror movie." shes a little short tempered, and would probably hiss when provoked. which doesnt take much.

kagamine lenka used to be called "Ena" by her classmates, because of her serial code E7AA-L. she prefers to be called lenka. her sibling is nonbinary, and is named rin, and considered changing their name too. if they had, lenka probably wouldve just gone by rin instead. she was "born" at 14, but aged down to 12 as part of a contract with an idol agency she joined. they all dressed up in lolita style outfits and acted very cutesy in public. lenka is incredibly shy, and the agency played this up even further as part of her "character."

she was in the idol group with a miku (her best friend lychee), and an otomachi una named unnana.

lenka has a pretty severe anxiety disorder. she is barely able to talk to people she doesnt know well and finds it hard to trust. she will almost never bring up any concerns she has, even with those she is close with. she is constantly terrified she will ruin all her relationships, and spirals whenever she has to make any descision. she heavily relied on lychee and rin for support. when lychee decided to quit the group, they had a bad argument and havent spoken since. lenka worries about lychee constantly.

kagamine rin used to be called "Nia" by her classmates, because of her serial code E7AA-R. she doesnt mind being called nia, but really prefers "rin."

rin is the cool older sibling. he is very chill to be around, and maybe a little intimitating to some because hes just a really cool person. she takes inspo from 90's jfashion, or y2k aesthetics. sometimes he thinks that he should start dressing more goth, but would want to dye his hair first. but shes putting that off. plus he works as waitstaff at a fancy restaraunt, and their policy is kind of strict. shes extroverted, and very supportive of her sister. he has a few piercings, and wants to get more.

shes genderfluid, and occastionally wears a chest binder.

erasuts, once formally known as dr. erastus ben-yehuda, is aware of too much. there is a war going on, far away from the little world he has created in the center of a remote forest. he is completely isolated.

he once had a son, named sariel. he was young, maybe between 13 and 14. sariel was caught in the crossfire, and lost one of his legs. science at that point had not progressed a lot. but erastus had magic. not a lot, and he didn't exactly know what he was doing, and he knew that magic always requires sacrifice, but he had it. he sacrificed his right eye in an attempt to save his son's leg, he would have bled out without some medical treatment that know one knew of. but it didn't work. erastus was not a man of magic. he was a man of science. the other members of the circle couldn't believe that a man such as the renowned dr. erastus could forsake science and turn to magic, despite his desperation.

that day, erastus lost his social standing, his eye, and most importantly, his son. he was heartbroken. he still has scars on his arms to remember.

now he lives in a state of self-imposed exile. he knows it is dangerous to return now, in more ways than one. so what does he do when he finds the limp body of a young man, about to die of his own volition, who reminds him so much of what his son looked like?

he takes them in. he's been studying both magic and machinery every day for four years, since the loss of his son. he combines the two, creating a set of arms, and he isn't sure that this person is going to live. his arms scratch and scar and everything hurts. but the young person is alive.

when they say they have no memories of who they are, erastus is conflicted. they should return to their family, right? but considering the state they were found in, and the state of the world outside, what kind of family is looking for them? erastus should protect moshe. moshe should stay with erastus. after all, looking into moshe's eyes is like looking into sariel's.

achim malamud was a student of architecture. he was a prodigy as a young teen. he once entered a contest to design the town he lived in a town hall, at only 16. he lied about his age, since he wouldn't have been alowed to enter. but he won. friends, family, and community members called him an incredible artist.

he was happy for a long time. he handled the honor with grace.

but he thought that nothing that he ever did could ever live up to the reputation he had built himself. he barely pushed through the end of school, and never again picked up a pencil. art and design had been his entire life. he tried to do something else with his life, he was young and had a lot of opportunity ahead of him.

but nothing else meant anything to him like art did. without it, he decided there was no point to living at all. he doesnt know it, but he has been recovered. he doesnt remember anything as moshe.

name meaning - god will judge

moshe lives in a cabin in the woods with dr. erastus.

they became themself only a short while ago. they came to, after being unconscious for a long time. apparently, erastus says, he found them at the bottom of a cliff and both of their arms were in bad enough condition that erastus amputated them (this is a fictional world, technology is different, erastus could not have saved the arms but he was able to create semi-magical prosthesis). moshe does not remember anything about who they used to be. they can't even remember their name, having chosen "moshe" for themself.

what moshe doesn't know is that the person that moshe once was, achim, had attempted suicide. based on the items that erastus had found when he found achim's unconscious body, he was able to deduce this. erasuts is trying to keep moshe from leaving for several reasons, one of which being that he doesn't want them to find out.

in the beginning, moshe feels like they owe erastus something for saving them. they want to leave, and find out who they used to be. erastus wants them to stay. so for a while, they do.

moshe grows more and more upset staying in one place. they feel that they are not a whole person. not only that, but there are probably people out there that cared a lot about whoever they used to be, and wouldn't it be wrong to deprive them of the knowledge of what happened? they don't know what they would say to these people. but they need to know. who were they? what happened to them? why did they lose their arms and their memories? why is erastus keeping them there?

01 and 02 are two artificial consciousnesses that share a body. their voice is controlled exclusively by 01, but they are able communicate internally with each other. they were created as two separate systems, and were not made to gain sentience.

01 is in control of the screens and audio output of their shared self (i refer to this as 2host). he is the one of the two that can speak, with a synthesized voice. the voice is similar to microsoft sam, but a little higher pitch. 01 is not able to switch to other voices but wishes that he sounded a little more human. 01 has no way to physically move but controls a few (very few) internal operating systems within the computer. hes kind of snarky, and might come across as self-centered and kinda mean. this is because he kind of is. he doesnt really like anyone.

02 has complete control over 2hosts motor control, and mostly communicates with body language and limited ASL. it only has one hand with two fingers, so its not 100% reliable. it also has more control over the internal mechanisms, but cant use the screen or speakers for visual or auditory communication. 02 is a people pleaser to a fault, never wanting to upset anyone ever. especially 01, it feels bad that he isnt able to experience and interact with the world in the same way that it can (01 does not entirely return the sentiment.)

the two of them get along most of the time, but its hard to cooperate 100% when you only control half of your functioning. so sometimes there are moments when they clash. 01 used to have control over one arm, but in a heated argument (have not made up the actual story for this yet) 02 ripped it off. it regrets doing this. a lot. whenever 01 is upset at 02, he lashes out and says terrible things. 02 feels so bad about 01s arm, that it never retaliates. it just sighs and generally does what 01 wants it to.

they both share the same sensory input, but 02 "feels" everything more strongly than 01. 01 is jealous of this.

dioptase is a gem, formed about a thousand years ago. together with the other gems, they must fight off the lunarians (moon people) so they arent kidnapped and broken into pieces for decoration. he has a MOHS hardness of 5.0, which is not very strong. still, hes supposed to patrol and fight.

dioptase only wants to do things that interest him. fighting is not one of these things. dioptase claims to be interested in more intellectual things, but whether or not things are interesting to him seems to be random. they are kind of self centered and think theyre more intelligent than they actually are. they are smart, however, and spend most of their time writing a novel.

their lookout partner, carnelian, often does most of the fighting for them. dioptase is convinced that carnelian is only good at physical labor, and is too naiive about the world to hold a real conversation with. he would never admit it, or maybe doesnt even realize it, but they are jealous of carnelians aptitude for fighting and passion for life.

he does not like carnelian very much.

carnelian is a gem, formed about five hundred years ago. together with the other gems, they must fight off the lunarians (moon people) so they arent kidnapped and broken into pieces for decoration. he has a MOHS hardness of 7.0, so is decently strong. but whatever they lack in physical strength, they make up for in technique! they are very good at what they do and are appropriately confident.

carnelian is one of the younger gems. he is optimistic to a fault, believing that no matter what, everything will be alright in the end. as long as everyone tries their best! whenever this outlook is proven wrong, he crashes hard. but eventually they always (so far) bounce back. they are generally excited by the smallest things, and have trouble hiding what theyre feeling.

their patrol partner, dioptase, does not like to fight like carnelian does. he prefers to write and research, and carnelian is competent enough that he can sometimes cover for him. he wishes that dioptase would put in more effort in this aspect of their work, but he is kind of starstruck by him. carnelian thinks that dioptase is the smartest one in the world, and wishes that they could impress them more in combat. but it seems that he never pays attention! carnelian has a bit of a crush, and will really do whatever dioptase asks of them. its honestly a miracle that dioptase hasnt caught on to this, but maybe hes ignoring it?
